2025 Downtown Powell Christmas Parade – by Greg Wise

    /

Our friend, photographer and long-time Powell resident Greg Wise shared some fun images from the recent Downtown Powell Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6 – and we couldn’t help but want to share the fun! If you’ve never been to Powell, a nearby jaunt from Cody, I’ve always found it a joy to visit. The people, the atmosphere, the nearby Heart Mountain Interpretive Center, the scenery – I always enjoyed it when I spun through on a distribution trip. Thanks Greg for letting us share your work! Here’s what Greg had to say about his pics: “What a great night in our great small town of Powell!!! It was not…

A Circle of Unstoppable Inspiration from Dubois

    /

Written by Kati Hime, Wyoming Lifestyle Magazine Images by Adria Trembly, Dubois & Levi Hime, Wyoming Lifestyle Magazine I was sitting in the Ford Wyoming Center (previously known as Casper Events Center) in February 2022, watching the Wyoming High School Activities Association’s State Wrestling for the first time. Our 16-year-old son, Vaughn, was down on the floor, huddled up with his team from Laramie High School. He was proudly sporting his long-sleeved state t-shirt the guys had received for the event, “HIME” emblazoned down one arm, which matched mine sitting up in the stands and Levi’s from his spot on the floor, taking pictures. Looking around me, parents were clad…

Pioneer Museum Sheep Shearing Day — A Wonderful Woolly Day! text & images courtesy Pioneer Museum, Lander On the prettiest day of the spring so far, over 300 people came out to Lander’s Pioneer Museum to celebrate the history and heritage of the sheep industry in Fremont County and have fun. It was the third annual Sheep Shearing Day, which has been a popular spring event at the museum. Laramie’s Higher Ground Fair 2016

    /

A new regional fair to celebrate rural living in the Rocky Mountains is coming to Laramie September 24 and 25.
