2025 Downtown Powell Christmas Parade – by Greg Wise

Our friend, photographer and long-time Powell resident Greg Wise shared some fun images from the recent Downtown Powell Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6 – and we couldn’t help but want to share the fun! If you’ve never been to Powell, a nearby jaunt from Cody, I’ve always found it a joy to visit. The people, the atmosphere, the nearby Heart Mountain Interpretive Center, the scenery – I always enjoyed it when I spun through on a distribution trip. Thanks Greg for letting us share your work! “What a great night in our great small town of Powell!!! It was not warm but it could have been so much worse. These are the times I relish living in small town Amreica but bring that down to small town Wyoming!! Powell has been my home for 32 1/2 years. My wife and I have raised our 3 children and with my camera I have gathered countless memories growing older in this wonderful community! Here are the photos I took yesterday in our downtown while countless entries in the parade carried citizens of all ages from 2-82 years old to celebrate the Christmas season. God bless Powell and Wyoming and the USA!”
