LARAMIE — University Women’s Club Celebrates 100th Anniversary<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0University Women\u2019s Club<\/a>\u00a0(formerly the Faculty Women\u2019s Club) is celebrating their 100th anniversary with a look at fashion through the ages. \u00a0Come celebrate the evolution of women in Laramie from 1912 to present \u2014 fashion from every decade along with hors d\u2019oeuvres and libations to purchase. Tickets are $5 at the door, Saturday April 28, 6:30-9 PM (fashion show to begin at 7:15); Hart\u2019s Alley, 404 S. 2nd St. (parking most convenient in the back of the buildling!). \u00a0Contact club president Kati Hime at 307-755-6896 for more information on the event or how to join this fun group of ladies — ANY woman in Laramie can join, regardless of affiliation with the University of Wyoming!<\/p>\n

CASPER –Fashion Crossroads Honors Casper Teacher<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tribal Sportswear\u00a0<\/a>has partnered with\u00a0Fashion Crossroads<\/a>\u00a0(228 E. 2nd St., Casper) for\u00a0their signature charity event, \u201cHeart for Art\u201d. Kyleen Stevenson-Braxton, Co-Owner of\u00a0Fashion Crossroads<\/a>, selected art teacher Nancy Lee of Dean Morgan Junior High from nominations received from the community. Tribal Sportswear gave the store the option to select a recipient, or to receive nominations — Kyleen thought it best to receive nominations. \u00a0A local resident wrote, \u201cNancy is a creative and dedicated art teacher who continually motivates her students to produce and to tap into their creative spirits.” A former student added, \u201cShe has a great sense of humor and she is the best art teacher I ever had in my life.”<\/p>\n

Kyleen is very excited that fashion Crossroads could participate in this opportunity, offered for the first time by Tribal Sportswear. \u00a0Fashion Crossroads, in downtown Casper, provides lifestyle and career wear for a wide variety of ages. \u00a0A well established business in the Casper community, they enjoy interacting with the community and supporting their fellow citizens.<\/p>\n

On April 28th, Mrs. Lee will be awarded with a plaque and $250 gift card to purchase art supplies.\u00a0Fashion Crossroads<\/a>\u00a0will offer food and refreshments all day for guests, a gift with purchase \u201cHeart for Art\u201d signature t-shirt and raffle of a Tribal outfit to any customer who purchases.<\/p>\n
