2011 Winter Roundup<\/h2>\n

Youth Scholarship & Membership Contest<\/p>\n

The Wyoming Stock Growers Association (WSGA) is offering 10 scholarships to Wyoming college students to attend the 2011 Wyo. Stock Growers Winter Roundup, December 13-15 at the Parkway Plaza in Casper. \u00a0WSGA is a statewide membership organization serving the needs of Wyoming’s livestock producers through advocacy and promotion. \u00a0Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to network with livestock industry producers, specialists, employers and leaders. \u00a0They will participate in discussions about current issues and will witness presentations about the latest and most\u00a0relevant industry information available. \u00a0Each scholarship will cover the cost of one full convention registration, which includes all convention programs and meals. \u00a0Recipients will also receive a one-year Youth Membership donated by WSGA members. \u00a0Recipients are responsible for lodging and traveling expenses.<\/p>\n

To apply, applicants must create a short (1 minute or less) video telling their agriculture story. \u00a0They must also fill out an application form (below). \u00a0The video or link to the video to www.facebook.com\/realranchers, submitted to liz@wysga.org or mailed to 113 E. 20th St. Cheyenne 82001. \u00a0Application forms must be emailed or mailed to the same addresses.<\/p>\n

Deadline is November 18, 2011. \u00a0The 10 winners are chosen by the WSGA staff and will be notified by November 23, 2011. \u00a0Applicants must be a student of the University of Wyoming or a Wyoming community college.<\/p>\n
