The result is imagery that glistens with interest.\u00a0In her words, \u201cMy need to create flows from the privilege of participating in the miraculous nature\u00a0of the creative process rather than rendering some notion of a perfect product. The creative process\u00a0is a confluence of nature\u2019s inspiration and my personal interpretation of what I am experiencing. I\u00a0strive to create paintings that record my own experience of the subject\u2019s essential spirit and energy,\u00a0not an imitation of a fixed surface reality. This process requires my presence, enthusiasm, openminded\u00a0appreciation, playfulness, courage and honesty. In this way, creating art is transformative,\u00a0universal and timeless.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As a teen, Turner had the opportunity to study with acclaimed landscape painters and then\u00a0continued her art education in such celebrated places as Italy, Mexico and Washington DC.
